Whimsical Colorful Shoot — Winey Blonde Events Co.

Bold pinks and a subtle slate blue were the main inspiration for this styled wedding shoot at Pleasant Union Farm. This shoot is one of whimsy and love including bright flowers that come from your own fairytale garden. From cascading greenery along the wall to a fully styled farmhouse table featuring blueberries from the venue’s farm, no detail was forgotten. The venue is known for its farm-to-table style so this shoot brings that garden feeling to life and also shares a little bit of the venue’ s values, as a working farm, and event space.

From Brittany: The goal of this shoot was to create an overall look that could be a bride's vision in Spring, Summer or Fall. It's whimsical and bright with pops of pinks, flowy dresses and airy arrangements, but then moody and warm featuring a slate blue, touch of burgundy florals and black candles. We also wanted to have a romantic feel contributing touches of both feminine and masculine elements. The whimsical florals, romantic candlelight and flow of the runner were complimented with a variety of more masculine textures including the wood farm table, modern copper flatware and beveled copper bowl. Pleasant Union Farm is a blueberry farm so we knew we wanted to incorporate a pretty shade of blue throughout the day and what better way to tie the look together than to be greeted at your place setting with freshly picked blueberries? Lastly, we wanted to showcase that just because your venue is a farm or barn doesn't mean your go to theme has to be rustic. We want to encourage brides to look at their venue as a blank slate, start with a vision that showcases your style, then let the vision evolve to where it compliments and flows nicely within your venue!
