Winey Blonde Events Co., locally owned and operated by Karen Gramlich Adams, is named after Karen's grandmother, Mary Jane Winey. Though Mary Jane passed when Karen was young, her family always jokes that she takes after her grandmother, from her determination to her blonde hair.
Since our start in 2014, Karen and her team have planned over 300 weddings across the state of Georgia and in destinations including Hawaii, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio and Texas. We are proud to be a local business and team made up of hard working women and a military family.

Karen Gramlich adams
Owner
My name is Karen and I believe that the most important memories are the ones we create and share with those we love. I believe in being swept off your feet when you meet that special someone, and that your wedding day should deliver that same feeling.
My love for planning events and owning a small business comes from my parents. Growing up, my mom always threw the best family celebrations and birthdays. Every holiday was something festive and she certainly was the “hostess with the mostess.” I also watched my dad work hard to grow his own business. From long days to passion projects, his dedication has inspired and fueled my own business journey.
Since 2010, I have worked in every facet of the wedding industry, from venue manager to catering and venue sales positions. In that time, friends asked me to help plan their weddings, and each time the work just felt right. In 2014 I took the plunge and started my own company. Since then, I’ve worked relentlessly to build a team of reputable planners that are authentic and detail oriented as much as I am.
At the start of my journey as a wedding planner,the mother of one of my brides gave me the greatest compliment. She said, “You have found your true calling as a wedding planner.” What an amazing gift those words were and still are to this day! These affirmations and little thank yous over the years have truly inspired me to chase my dreams and grow Winey Blonde Events into the incredible event planning company it is today.

After years of getting way too excited for any excuse to plan a party Brittany knew this was what she wanted to do as a career and loves that she gets to help couples with the most intimate, personable party they'll ever have. During the planning process with her couples she strives to make it an organized, enjoyable experience in hopes the feeling of being overwhelmed is lessened. So much fun is had watching each bride's vision come to life and playing a roll in making it happen is so special!

Bethany has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. After completing business school at Kennesaw State University, she decided to follow her heart and do what she has always wanted to do - planning! She has planned all kinds of events from fundraisers to social gatherings to now weddings!

Blair has always admired weddings and events. While she was growing up she would often help her mother who was a florist. The patience and intricate detail Blair learned from her mom has helped her cultivate a strong eye for detail.

Avery Godwin
Avery has dreamed of planning her own wedding her whole life and finally decided it was time to turn her passion for weddings into a reality. She graduated from the University of North Georgia with a studio art degree and is using her design skills and love for people to plan the perfect day for couples.
